And yes. More photos! Yay!

Again - click for better detail. It's just prettier that way.
Tiger swallowtail
Lace-n-daisies
Poplar leaves and sky
Rust lesions on leaf (this is what happens when you don't use pesticides. you will see this theme repeated throughout this post; what I mean to say is: you cannot sustain a global population sans pesticides. no, you can't, and don't even try to argue with me. not with our current means, anyway.) (Rust = cedar-apple rust, Gymnosporangium juniperi-virginianae)
Apple with rust; apple with scab in the background.
Apple with scab (scab = Venturia inaequalis).
North 40 with sticky traps
Goldenrod!
Daisy fleabane, which I cut down today with the weed whacker. Sigh.
And more.
Summer skies, north 40.
And again.

And another rusty apple! Looks tasty, no? No. No it doesn't.
Bebe poplar.
Fire blight lesion (Erwinia amylovora)
And again.
An exciting shot of the garage, with my beloved Gator in the fore. And that's my lawn tractor there in the back too! "Mine," I mean. I have never learned how to drive the ATV that's behind the mower.

Hi! At some point, I might actually write something. Meanwhile, though - pictures. I know there are people looking at them (even when they refuse to comment. ahem.), and I'm happy to have them simply for myself. I love my job, and it will be over all too soon.
On that note... ta, until the morrow.

More photos.

(recommendation - click on the photos for better detail - some of them look much nicer that way)
Purple loosestrife. Yes, I know it's invasive, but it's still pretty.
Young apple of a proprietary variety.
Mallow of some species; I don't know it right now and I don't feel like looking it up. So there! (moody moodiness right now. I'm sorry.)
Peach.
And another.
And yet another!
Potato leafhopper - a critter I'm studying right now.

Apricots.
Arm and leg - nice farmer's tan, eh?
Bebe leaf of some kind. I don't know what kind, and I am just too tired to figure it out. It's pretty, though, isn't it?
Dodder. Read about its nefarious nature here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CuscutaMore unknown leaves

Broken irrigation tubing! Oh no!
Up close
Fixed!

Before tying up limbs....
...and after. Maybe doesn't seem like much, but it all involves a ladder and hundreds of trees, so it is kind of much. And I love it. Even when I'm complainy, I love it.
******************
That's all for now. I will eventually write *something*. For now, though, it's just photos. Ta, and best to anyone reading.

Belatedly, and without words... another post.

Hello there. I have stuff to say, but no time to say it in, and no time in which to properly edit myself. It's hot, I'm busy, and I'm (as of this week) on school vacation for three or four weeks. Yay! It would be a heckuva lot nicer if my life wasn't so turbulent, but that's how it is, so... enjoy the photos. Or not. At some point, perhaps I'll give them captions! Oh, the excitement.
Best to you all - you very very few, actually - and ta for now.
One time offer: my old blog is here - www.conhydrine.blogspot.com. I shall be deleting this link very soon. And again, ta.

For Renee, Queen of the Dragon and Damselflies

A series of dragonflies caught and pinned by a coworker. I don't know the species, but I am hoping Renee will! (as she blackmails the hapless Renee into doing the identification) (thank you, my friend!)

************

And more photos. While I decide what to say.

Mirror Lake at OSU again, a little pool next to it.
And again, Mirror Lake.
Farm tool and weed.
Bunch of baby peaches, which are much much bigger at this point (old photo).
Another baby peach.
And some more grass.

*****************

So. I'm trying to decide what to write and what not write. At this point, I have lost count of the number of times my writing has gotten me in trouble. And yet I still do it! I suppose that could either be considered stubborn perseverence or complete stupidity. I can fill both bills, depending upon the hour or day. I'm writing because I want to, and I need to. I'm not great at it, but it's been my escape and my salvation too many times to count, so I'm not going to stop now even if a smarter person would. At any rate, I'm being all obfuscating because I have to be right now. Meanwhile, I shall post photos.

Best to you. Ta.

Hello again. I'm back, for those of you who know me. Just checking in... I really missed posting photos and hearing from you. Eventually I'll get back to those of you who used to check in with me; until then, it just feels good to be back.
Until later, for now, ta.
